"Woman Blue" - debiutancka płyta zespołu Shy Albatross powołanego przez Raphaela Rogińskiego, który współtworzą Natalia Przybysz, Hubert Zemler i Miłosz Pękala. Shy Albatross, to łączące muzycznie różne kultury - medium.

 

Pierwsza płyta "Woman Blue" na którą składają się utwory autorskie pisane do wierszy folkowych ameryki północnej, nagrana została w kwietniu 2015 roku. Teksty opowiadają o perspektywie kobiety, często postawionej w skrajnych sytuacjach. Tak więc obok lamentów, pieśni głodu i beznadziei, możemy usłyszeć teksty o kobietach gangsterach, czy obdarzonych paranormalnymi zdolnościami. Łącznikiem jest kultura Ameryki w której zawarł się dramat i nadzieja kobiet przybywających do niej z własnej woli lub jako niewolnice.

 

Instrumentarium zespołu jest odzwierciedleniem tej podróży; usłyszymy tu cymbały, balafon, gitarę, mandolinę, wibrafon i inne. Tak samo stylistycznie słyszymy tu bluesa by doszukać się w nim muzyki Afryki, a irlandzkie romanse mieszają się z muzyką najdalszej prerii.
